Bios

Peter Cardoz

Peter Cardoz, son of the late world-renowned Chef Floyd Cardoz, grew up in Verona, New Jersey, surrounded by the flavors and spices his Indian immigrant parents cherished. Inheriting his father’s culinary expertise, Peter embarked on a path that combined his scientific background with his passion for cooking. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Connecticut, Peter delved into a successful career as a scientist, conducting laboratory research and later specializing in medical cannabis extraction and manufacturing.

In 2021, Peter founded Cardoz Blended Gourmet, a cannabis consulting company that focuses on formulating products for licensed cannabis manufacturers. He also launched a line of hemp-derived live resin-infused culinary products, such as truffle and chili finishing oils. Peter’s aim is to offer innovative products and educate and inspire consumers to create their own cannabis-infused meals. Peter’s journey in the culinary world took him to America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation, where he showcased his talent and love for cooking.

Carrying his father’s memory, Peter finds inspiration in the culinary legacy left behind. His mother, Barkha Cardoz, a culinary entrepreneur, upholds their mission through Cardoz Legacy. With forthcoming projects, including a cookbook, she continues to celebrate the Cardoz family’s culinary heritage.

As a passionate scientist, cannabis advocate, and culinary expert, Peter channels his knowledge and love for cannabis into his endeavors with Cardoz Blended Gourmet. Through his CBG, he continues to innovate the consumer experience while sharing his expertise in full-spectrum culinary products. Peter’s dedication and commitment to reaching more people who can benefit from his creations drive his ongoing culinary ventures.
